San Francisco Opera Guild invites you to participate in an exclusive celebratory evening, Springtime in Paris, An Evening Honoring Frederica von Stade. This glamorous black-tie event will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco and will honor the outstanding career of internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade and her dedication to music and arts education for younger generations.
Springtime in Paris, An Evening Honoring Frederica von Stade will continue the tradition of renowned events presented by San Francisco Opera Guild. The celebratory evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a cocktail reception and silent wine auction in the foyer of the Veranda Ballroom. At 7:30 pm, the doors to the ballroom will open and guests will enjoy a festive dinner created by Executive Chef Mark Richardson, a special tribute to Frederica von Stade, and music to dance the night away.
All proceeds from Springtime in Paris, An Evening Honoring Frederica von Stade will support the education programs of San Francisco Opera Guild. Every year, San Francisco Opera Guild brings the magic of opera to over 50,000 young people throughout Northern California. Your support of these award-winning programs has never been more important.
